How did having kids change your life and/or relationship?

I posted a similar question on the marriage subreddit, but I'm interested in your experiences as well, as people who are interested and engaged in parenting. My husband (31m) and I (32f) have been happily married for six years. We both thought we would want kids by now, but it's still not a priority for either of us. It's not that we don't want them, it's just that it has always seemed like something nice to do in the indistinct future. But if we decide to do it, I'm aware that we should think about starting fairly soon.I'm curious about other people's experience who were in a similar boat, or who wanted kids but were still surprised by some of the changes they brought. How have they changed your life and marriage (or relationship), either positively or otherwise? Thanks! I look forward to your insights. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2t8cWau
