Daddy is underground

My husband has been gone since Monday, he usually parks his car outside and it pretty active around the house so neighbour's notice him. Yesterday evening, while I was taking care of the front yard and that the kids were playing around me, a neighbour approached my son. I was close enough to see it, but not close enough to hear exactly what was being said. I just saw my son saying something and a terrified look in he neighbour's face as he looked at me.I quit what I was doing and went to see him, greeted him and he said "I asked your son how he was doing and where his dad was since we haven't been seeing him, he said his dad was underground....O.m.g.The thing is, my husband is a mining engineer. He's currently in Nunavut working in a mine... Underground. When he explained it to the kids, he basically said that he was going away to work underground. Yup.We had a good laugh about it, I'm definitely keeping this one in the "things my kids said" book. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2uericu
