LPT: how to get a small child to let you wipe their nose

I started doing this with my four year old who refuses to let me get the snot out of his nose. I now ask him what colour he thinks it's going to be and tell him what I think. I will say things like, "do you think it will be green? Maybe it will look like fire?" Than he lets me wipe his nose and wants to look at it.
