Kiddo is 4, I want to start the conversations about tricky people (he already knows about private parts staying private, no secrets, if something doesnt feel right talk to mom or dad or a teacher, etc.)The problem is we have a helper. He LOVES to help people. I've heard the phrase "adults do not need help from kids" (thinking about the "I've lost my dog, can you help me look for it?" example), but in his experience this isn't true. His teachers ask him to help, people at the grocery store ask him to help, he volunteers to help. Grown ups ask him for help all the time, and even in playgrounds he will volunteer to help a smaller kid climb the slide, etc.Obviously there is nuance here, but I am not sure how to approach it, given his nature. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/31QnTzi
