A shout out to the wonderful mother at Legoland

I just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful lady at Legoland who helped my toddler while we were in line for one of the rides. Nap time is hard when traveling, but especially for my little guy (almost 2) and especially when we are out and about all day. We were in line for one of the family rides (with my husband and 10 year old as well), and he was well overdue for his nap. I looked around with envy at all the other parents with babies and toddlers that were peacefully sleeping in their strollers. I just wanted get through the afternoon unscathed. But this angel behind us saw him having a hard time, and spoke to him like the person that he is, and gave him a Lego to play with while we were in line, with no expectations of getting it back. Then her kind son (maybe 9 or so) bent down and talked to him at eye level, and helped entertain him enough to get him out of his funk.Thank you both so much for being who you are and for helping us enjoy our family vacation. I have never been so grateful, and it helped me realize that as much as it may seem like it sometimes, we are not alone in this whole parenting business. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2Wj5AU8
