So this is kind of a combo personal finance parenting question. We have twins and pay an honestly pretty obscene amount for childcare (currently about 30K total a year for their first two years of life) in a moderate cost of living area.I keep hearing mixed things from other parents about whether things get cheaper when they get older. We have excellent public schools (and full day kindergarten) so part of me thinks we'll suddenly feel like we won the lottery. But a lot of parents have also said it all evens out between after school care, activities, more expensive clothes and equipment, etc.So what has your experience been? Is it realistic to look at our budget in the next 3 years getting a lot more comfortable? Has it remained steady in your experience? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2CUi1sO
