About two months ago we had our master bathroom redone and had the final inspection at the beginning of December. Part of that inspection required us to have fire detectors in each bedroom. I installed them and got the final approval. Only issue is, since I installed it in my daughter's bedroom, she's been waking up in the middle of night scared of it since it has a random blinking light. She's been doing that the past few nights since I finally installed it.I'm contemplating either removing it from the ceiling and putting it out of her view so she doesn't see a blinking light in the middle of the night, covering up the light with electrical tape or buying a new one that doesn't have a blinking light on it. She's only 2 and a half years old so I don't want her freaking out every night.
