Bug out on plane?

First time posting to r/parenting, curious if anybody has experienced this or has any insight about this situation?Flew this morning from TX to FL (90 min flight) with my 3 year old daughter and my wife. Daughter has been on 7 round trips (14+ flights back and forth) prior to this one of varying lengths including a 14+ hr trip to/from Ireland and 10+ hr flight to/from Hawaii. Like a normal kid she has gotten fussy at times and hasn't wanted to sit in her seat but today was very different. From the time that we got into our seats she bugged out screaming (a death curdling, scared kind of scream) not just a normal scream asking to "get out," while refusing to sit in her own seat. My wife picked her up repeatedly and we tried everything we could (singing, shushing and talking softly, snack/water, watching a show on tablet, looking at pictures of family and friends on phone, etc) to try to calm her down to no avail. Stewardess came over and tried to distract her and wasn't really able to help much assuring us that it's okay that she's making a scene, knowing that she had never done this before and that we were trying everything we could to settle her down.Eventually our daughter chilled out and sat in her seat, but wanted to hold our hands the entire flight. We've tried talking to her since to try to figure out why she was so scared and haven't been able to get reason why. We fly back to TX in a week and are not sure if there is anything we can do to avoid this or what to try if it happens again.Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2jT1AqB
