My teen son is sensitive, friendly and and a bit socially awkward - but finding his way. His friends / acquaintances are goofing on him in regards to him being muslim/jewish/insert religion, orientation, skin color or whatever here. I've been trying to tell him to grow thick skin but he said it is becoming more prevalent and from more people. And the things they are saying are ugly.He needs to learn some coping skills like we all do. At the same time my concern is as the situation escalates some real bullying can start. And plus he is starting to make some friends finally and I don't want to upset that progress. What do we need to do as parents to help the situation without damaging his growing relationships? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2l3oAji
