Parents and in laws say I'm 'spoiling' my twenty year old daughter by allowing her to live at home rent free.

My oldest daughter is twenty years old, I then have four younger children aged 17,15,11 and 8. My eldest still lives with us, and we do not charge her rent for multiple reasons. First of all, she's on a full time university course training to become a teacher, and has a part time job on top of that. If she was sitting around at home all day, It would be a different story but she isn't. Furthermore, she spends usually three nights a week at friends houses so she isn't at the house half of the time anyway. My Mom especially has made comments about how she's now going to expect us to always provide for her, because she is in her twenties now and has never had to pay rent. I wanted to hear other people's opinions about adult children living at home. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/37zXEPM
