Aquabeads are made by the devil...am I fair to leave these types of curses, I mean gifts, with Grandparents who got them?

Why do people purchase this crap. It's a process. It's a million pieces. And it is a mess. I'm currently picking sticky beads from my carpet, hair, and clothing. And debating coating some lightly with water and throwing them back into grandmas house onto her green shag carpet.Lesson learned. "Crafty gifts" along with loud annoying ones, can be left at grandparents place to be "enjoyed" with them.We even do many crafts. Like normal people ones. With paper. Markers. Glue. And even glitter! But nothing has compared to the aqua and pearler bead bologna we've been cursed with.
