My daughter is at college, only been there 4 weeks, freshman year, and she's making comments about suicide, I don't know what to do.

My daughter just started attending college, it's her freshman year, and she's making comments to her boyfriend that got passed along to her mother and I, and I don't know what to do.She's attending a college about 3 hours away from the closest person she knows. She is already on depression and anxiety medication, and she has a hard time making friends on her own. Her roommate moved out a week after they got there because her roommate found out her best friend lived in an adjoining dorm and they had the opportunity to move in together.My daughter feels more and more alone by the day and she made comments to her boyfriend tonight that "she either wants to come home or kill herself."I'm very worried about this and I don't want to just lump it into the same category as someone just having a hard time adjusting.Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated in advance. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2ezjklj
