My husband and I were raised(forced) Catholic. As soon as we were able to decide, we completely cut that shit out. We don't believe in the whole god/Jesus thing or anything else to do with religion, especially Catholicism. SOs mom and husband go to church and have taken our kids with them. Our son(5) just thinks it's cool to play with other kids and doesn't understand the religion part of it. He just started school a few weeks ago and of course there will be children that do go to church and have been taught "the word" and whatnot. How would you handle your child's curiosity toward religion? We do not and will not go to church but if our son wants to go and have faith in god, should we let him at such a young age? I was never given the option. It was always go to church, pray, and don't ask questions because it shows you don't have faith. Should we allow him the choice at this age or should we stifle all curiosity and tell him what we believe?Edit: if you downvote this I want to know why.
