My daughter is 2 year old and have been healthy other no signs of developmental problems. She took time to crawl and walk (1 year 5 months), but her pediatrician said it's a non issue.Last week Wednesday, her my mother who is staying with us to help us bring her up, complained of multiple falls. We thoroughly checked her body for any signs of trauma but didn't see any. Daughter too didn't complain about any pain or discomfort.Suddenly on Thursday her left foot developed an unusual gait with her foot turned in. She reported pain in her toe. We roo observed minor swelling under her foot near left toe. We thought of some insect bite or some injury and took her to her pediatrician.Unfortunately, her pediatrician didn't think it's due to some fall. He asked us do some neuro test (NCV) and blood test. We insisted she doesn't have any walking trouble but he didn't pay heed. Reports came out normal and we have an appointment to get his opinion tomorrow. Are we heading towards something serious here? I did some WebMD research and watched some drop foot videos. There is a similarity in the pattern but we couldn't understand what could be the reason and why she developed this symptom suddenly. We just long to see her walk as before. His weekend has been terrible so far. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2U04VlI
