My 4 year old was at a birthday party recently and there was a magician doing his thing. All of the parents and kids were gathered watching (about 20 kids). Near the start, the magician gets his wand out (not a euphemism on this occasion) and as he tries to make the magic happen asks “what’s the magic word kids?” and before anyone can call out anything, up chimes my daughter with a nice loud “please”.Cue lots of parental laughs, and the husband and I looking exceptionally smug at the back of the room.(This is the same child who a few weeks prior said “f**king cat!” to our incessantly noisy feline - you win some, you lose some) via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Q5Ywnb
