Hey all. I'm in a bit of a potty training bind and need help. I have a daughter who is 2 years and 3 months old. She knows what a potty is. And occasionally will use the potty if we put her on it, but still shows no signs to let us know when she has to pee or poop, but will on occasion tell us after she goes in her diaper. My wife is convinced she is ready to get potty trained, but after the past few days I have my doubt. We took away the diapers and had her just wear "big girl" underwear based on recommendations of others. That doesn't help. We have tried to set an alarm for every 15 minutes and go to the bathroom to try every time it goes off while loading her up with liquids in between, and sometimes she does go but sometimes she will sit there for 10 minutes with nothing or fight us not wanting to do it and may have an accident in between. We've done m&ms when she does go in the potty as a reward. Nothing seems to help prompt the "tell us before you need to pee" reaction. To make things harder we have a 2 week old which requires a lot of my wife's attention for feedings and such, so it leaves just ne to handle about 80% of the potty trips and clean up of floors from accidents and underwearhangings. I'm starting to feel like maybe she just isn't ready, but my wife 100% disagrees and believes she is completely ready and will be potty trained in 2 days or so if we just do it.I just feel like I'm losing my sanity and not sure if I'm just messing it up and maybe she is ready but since I'm doing most of the work maybe I'm wrong, or if maybe she isnt ready and just trying to force it will make it harder a d make her not want to use the potty.Any insight that others can provide or let me know their thoughts would be great. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2LUAqbS
