Hello, All! First time dad here with a 4 day old girl. I searched the sub but couldn't locate anything similar to my question, but please remove and link if a duplicate is known. My question: My wife and I have been debating on baby Adeline's care when it comes to her routine compared to what she actually needs at a given time. Specific example - We are aware newborns should feed at least every 2-3 hours per the pediatrician's recommendation, but sometimes my girl won't start fussing until around 4 hours. This leads to the debate. If my child is sleeping contently and passing a given scheduled time (feeding, changing, etc.), would you typically wake her and continue on schedule, or wait until the baby makes it clear via signalling/crying, to take care of their needs? I realize this is an opinion based question and not science, hahaha, so any and all opinions/thoughts appreciated. Thanks.TL;DR My wife and I debate when to feed/change the baby. Follow the baby's cries/signals? Or stick to the established schedule regardless if she's sleeping or not? All opinions appreciated. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2ChEbrY
