Is it just my wife and I, or is the cost of activities and other family related activities just getting out of hand.

I don't know if it's just the area where we live, but kids sports and activities are out of hand. $300+ per class per quarter for gymnastics. That gets you 1.5 hr class a week. But as they advance, and get older they want them to do 2-3 classes per week. That's 900 a quarter!!!But even movies, amusment parks, apple picking just seems like there is always more shit they want you to buy, always raising prices and always find ways to nickel and dime you.Don't get me wrong. There are plenty of cheaper things that we can, and do, find to do. Nobody is forcing us to go bla bla bla. But I have no idea how families of 3 do it.
