People warned me to not foster a teenager. They'll set fire to your house, can't be left alone with younger kids, will do drugs, etc. I was told that they're sassy and defiant and moody and generally terrible.Well, he's here and he's awesome! Yes, he rolls his eyes at me, but he also says "I love you." I get a full 10 hours of sleep at night and don't have to worry about potty training. We can spend the whole day a part and it is considered good parenting. He's needy and moody, but he really wants a family and just soaks up the attention. He's been through trauma, but it's made him so gentle with the pets and our friends' baby.I LOVE parenting a teenager. We talk about serious real world stuff and then I make him do his math homework.
