Riding the wave of all the positive posts lately: I took my 4 year old and 1.5 year old to one of those indoor playground places today. Some older boys were running their energy out and kept darting past them. My very socially-reserved older daughter spoke up and told one of the boys "Be careful around my little sister, she's a baby!" And the best part is that the older boy was so nice to her, he just said "ok" and toned down the running (at least for a little while hah). But it was such an awesome interaction and warmed my heart to see her stand up for her little sister, and then have the risk she took in speaking up rewarded :) via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2n2BXVy
