Kid came home from 4 hours day care with a black eye. None of the staff are 'able' to explain.

As the title says. I'm a first time parent, so still learning. What's the etiquette for this scenario?Now I've got no problem with the kid getting bruised. It's a part of life. But it's the lack of any form of explanation. In fact we got a reply, "we thought she got that at home" She was not bruised when we dropped her off.But when a 16mo old is in day care, for only her third week, I expect, at that age, she is watched like 99% of the time. And if something happens during the 1%, there should at least be a reasonable deduction of what happened. But don't tell me, "uh... We don't know!"Am I being unreasonable?
