We had our first daughter 9 weeks ago, 6 weeks before her due date, so she's basically 3 weeks old. My parents moved out of state while we were pregnant to be near my brother's family and pursue a dream job (which my dad quit after 3 weeks). They haven't met our daughter yet and have been planning to fly up Friday (tomorrow) and stay with friends for a week and visit with the baby. We just got a text that my dad is coming down with a cold, but plans to wear a mask and wash his hands when around the baby.I think it's too risky and we should tell them to reschedule. They took time off of work (which I imagine they can un-take off) and bought tickets (which are hopefully refundable). Are we being unreasonable?
