I didn't know where else to post this and I just needed to vent.Let me preface this by saying me, my husband, and my son are white. Okay, so I'm at Aldi about an hour ago getting a few things and go to the checkout line. A black lady gets in line behind me, I'll call her BL and I'll be me.BL- "he can see black and white, huh?"Me- "excuse me?"BL- "he can see black and white?"Me- "no?"BL- "he looking at me like he scared"All of this was said in a really bitchy tone. I Just rolled my eyes and looked forward. Like you seriously think my almost 2 year old is scared of you just because you're black? My husband and I are not even a little bit racist. We're very open minded and are raising our son to be the same way. I have literally never said anything to him about black vs. White people. Why would i? Maybe he doesn't like you because you're a mean old bitch that thinks a 2 year old is judging you on your skin color. I don't care about people's skin color, I care that they're a good person.Sorry for the rant. It's just been driving me crazy since it happened.Edit: baby tax just cause I think he's the cutest 😊 via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2CosNef
