So I had a run in with a lady at the mall today. We were in the food court and this lady sits down next to us. I saw her looking around her distainfully at random people and I thought “oh boy” and I was right! My son is 7 and was eating some noodles. He started off eating with his fork and then gave up and started eating with his hands (I should preface this by saying my in-laws are south Asian and when they visit and make us food proper etiquette includes eating with hands-so in addition to being only 7 my son has this added layer of confusion). So the lady looks over and says to me “He doesn’t use a fork?!” And at first I was like “uh he does” and then I was like never mind “just eat how you want, z” Then as we were getting up to leave she started to say “Even a dog..” so I cut her off and said “you’re a rather rude person and it’s none of your business” and we left. I mean she chose to sit next to a young kid. But after she left I was wondering what the end of that sentence was going to be “Even a dog uses a fork?” Lol. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2wFjSjc
