This is the dragon head he's been drawing over and over and over since he was six years old. Seriously, it's always the same, but this time it has a swastika in the eye.He's gone through phases where his special interest is codes and symbols. He will "loop" with drawing his special interest over and over on any available surface (a dragon head was etched into the gymnasium floor with a rock when he was seven, and the gym had to be resurfaced). Seriously, it's constant and bordering on obsessive.If I make something taboo, it just becomes more cool and sneaky. We've talked about the Holocaust and Fascism but I'm not sure he really is motivated by the idea that it offends or hurts other people. If I attach this to a consequence it'll just make him want to hide it but he'll get more obsessive about it.He goes to a hippy charter school, so I don't think he's being recruited or anything, but I have no idea how to stop this or talk to him about it. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2oPN0zW
