Any experiences with postpartum anger?

Hi, After a stressful 9 months with my newest baby I have finally realized that my feelings of irritation and anger are not normal. I snap every day and after one normal-toned request to my older kids I go straight to screaming if they don’t listen to me. I called my doctor’s office yesterday and have an appointment early next week. I would really like to hear other people’s experiences with postpartum rage and any things you and your families did to try to make things easier. Unfortunately my husband has a very stressful job involving long and unpredictable hours, so we are a little trapped when it comes to help from him, but he is very caring and understanding. My mom is around but she tends to trigger my rage and I am not comfortable with talking to her about this right now (she also still works). My mother-in-law would be quite helpful normally but she is occupied in another city at the moment helping with another family crisis. We are working on putting our toddler in daycare part time so that I can get more of a break during the day. I tend to have about 14 hour days with the kids by myself. Our oldest just started school so that helps on the one hand but also adds a little work and stress as well. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2MTX1dF
