Nothing in this world is more attractive to me than watching my husband be a dad

He told me when we were dating that his ultimate goal in life was to be a great father and each day I watch him live up to his own expectations.I was busy today with getting myself registered to go back to school to finish my degree so he was dealing with the kids almost exclusively.Twin babies crying? He made them laugh.Toddler bubbling over with energy? He plays "jumpy downy" with him until he gets tired and takes a nap (jumpy downy is literally just him and the kids standing in place and jumping up and down. Husband used to be a boxer. Can jump for days. Kids never had a chance. Every single one of them has fallen for this trick)Preteens fighting? Guess who got a (spotlessly)cleaned garage and clean cars? Me. I did.16 year old boy wants to talk about the boom he just read? Dad sits and chats it up with him because he noticed his son was reading it and bought and read his own copy.18 year old who struggles with depression having a low day? He grabs an onion, a stick of butter, and an orange, goes to her room. Stands there and eats all of it, skin on the orange and all, in front of her. She watches in confusion and as he's sitting on the floor dry heaving, he glances up at her and says, "You...you used to love this when you were a baby." And she laughed so hard she cried.I swear nothing makes me happier than days like this one. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2wnd4UB
