A 2.5 year-old, twins on the way and suddenly, we need a new car

Our ideal car would be a 7-seater AWD SUV, and we dreaded (and still do) minivans. Those are expensive anyway. We tried a Kia Rondo. Cargo-space close to nil with three rows of seats, not to mention how cramped it is space-wise.Even the VW Atlas (too expensive anyway) was barely making the cut in that respect. Our 2.5 year-old will be 3 when the twins arrive. She's big, and maybe the booster seat will come sooner than later for her.Would it be doable to seat all three of them in the same row at some point, and claim more cargo space in, say, a Kia Rondo or a Hyundai Santa Fe? We also looked into a Toyota Venza, which is apparently wide enough to seat 3 carseats. What kind of experience do you 3+ kidders have? Anything you would've done differently in your car selection?Any advice would be appreciated (yes, even "suck it up and get a damn minivan"). -- if the latter is your recommendation, which one did the job? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2u4EgLr
