Hello Reddit!Me and my wife are raising triplets. They are three years old right now. Before we had them, we had strong opinions about having a screen free environment for X years and the detrimental effects of TV on development, etc etc. When the reality of managing this circus hit, we revised a lot of those opinions. We found that there are some great options out there for educational TV that can help with early development and concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers and letters, and we've made great use of these resources (things like Youtube channels/tv shows on streaming services) to help give our kids a jump start through a platform that really captures their interest easily.I'm here today because, so far, we've stumbled across most of the stuff we've found at random. I know that there is lots more out there that we just haven't found yet. I know that a lot of you have gone through this already and may have found resources that really helped, or found resources in hindsight that you wished you had earlier. So here's my ask:Reddit, what are the best educational/development supporting TV shows/youtube channels/websites/apps that you've found that would help get toddlers (3-4 years old) on the right track? If you have things that are better for older ages, I'm totally open to keeping tabs on that for when they get older, and it might help other parents that are there right now, so don't hesitate to share that either. If you have something that is outside of the platforms I'm asking about (like, for example, a board game or a book), please feel free to share that as well!Raising triplets is hard. Raising a kid is hard. We're looking for any help we can get from the knowledge repository that is /r/parenting. Whatever you can share to help us and everyone else trying to raise healthy, happy kids to be ready to succeed and thrive academically will be super appreciated.Thank you everyone! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2gATXSz
