Just want to share a moment of triumph.

I'm a new dad. Recent adoption. Just finished and submitted his online school application for next year, days before the deadline. As I literally never do anything days before the deadline, this feels like a big parenting win for me. I got letters of recommendation, managed to pull all of his previous year test scores and report cards (this was all from another school district from when he was with his previous guardians and so, of course, I did not have the logins and had to request access from scratch) and even got his application essay scanned and uploaded to the online application, even though that's not a requirement. I feel grand! I'm glad parenting wins are this rewarding. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but knowing I'm a good dad is really an awesome feeling. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/365viMu
