So late afternoons/evenings are a tricky time for us. A few days a week I am home alone with my 2.5 year old and my breastfeeding 6 week old. Not only am I trying to get dinner ready, but it's "wind down" time for all of us, and baby wants to nurse for hours on end.TV has been an okay distraction for my toddler, but she is generally ready for a good meltdown or two around 5pm. I know she's still adjusting to life with a new baby, so I'm sure this won't be a permanent problem, but I am just out of ideas for her. I personally think the TV is a little too stimulating for her, and it ends up making her meltdowns longer and more frequent. I'm thinking something along the lines of a special activity I can have ready for her that she can look forward to at the end of the day. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/34Mwmo6
