Inappropriate touching between children at school

I never thought I’d be typing this. And I don’t know if I’m overreacting but I slept on it and the more I think about it, the more it upsets me.To preface, my ex husband and I are divorced and have 50/50 custody, it’s his week currently and this happened yesterday. Also I work at her school as a preschool teacher but not in her class. I was home yesterday due to other matters. My Daughter “C” just turned 5 years old on Saturday.I got a call at 5:30 from her dad telling me very urgently and angrily that we need to talk. Apparently she exposed herself in school and allowed another little boy to touch her private parts. There’s so much to unpack here it’s disgusting. To start, we’ve had issues with this little boy having her expose herself before (talking her into it). Also her teachers should have called home? And where were they when this happened? Why were we informed at the end of the day that my daughter was inappropriately touched by another little child? We are a very sensitive household to this subject as I was once a victim of rape, and my ex sister in law was sexually abused as a child for many years.I’m planning on going in and talking to my boss today about this situation as a parent (this is the owner of the school as my director is on maternity leave....and we are all about to quit without her here...its insane). But I want to make sure I’m not overreacting to this due to my own past. I’m extremely upset at how this was handled. She only has a month left at this school and I’ve been looking for a new job anyway, but I’m considering pulling her because of this.
