I have a 16 year old Junior, a 9 year old 4th grader and a 4 year old preschooler. Today is the first day of school (Washington State schools start after Labor Day... we like to play in our sun as long as possible!) I have been a SAHM since I had my youngest. Today, I saw the many Facebook posts of kids going to school and moms are so sad and they will miss their kids.... well, I’mTHRILLED my kids are going to school!! I don’t have to argue with my kids why it’s time to turn off YouTube, or the Xbox. I don’t have to listen to the bickering of: he took my seat, he’s looking at me, so and so hit me etc.! I will not miss their grumpy faces in the morning and their bored complaints in the afternoon. I can clean the coffee table and it will stay clean for 6 whole hours!! I can fold the blanket and put it on the couch and it will not end up on the floor!Thank God for Teachers and school!
