Should I insist my fifth grade, white son not dress as Black Panther for Halloween?

My son loves Marvel, in the past he has dressed up as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk and Ant Man. This year he really wants to be Black Panther. I’ve tried suggesting Thanos, Thor and Dr. Strange, but he really wants to be Black Panther.I have a feeling he will be teased by his classmates. It’s a rough conversation to have. My wife pointed out that I let my Hispanic (adopted) daughter dress as Snow White, and our white daughter dress as Moana in the past. Somehow a white child dressing as Black Panther seems different, and being in fifth grade I think the other kids might pick up on it. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Ct93G5
