Newborn at Wedding

Hey guys, so I have a potential challenge ahead and wanted advice and input from someone who has hopefully experienced something similar. My (28) twin brother is getting married early next May. I am the man of honor and my wife is a bridesmaid. We are all very close and super excited. Also, we just found out that we are expecting again! (our son is 21 months) So obviously this is all great news, but doing the math, it looks like our newborn will be coming around the third week in April. This puts us in a situation where we will have a brand newborn and we will be traveling one state away (2 1/2 drive) for 2 nights. My first question, is it even responsible to take a newborn somewhere new so soon? He/She will be as young as 3 weeks old. We are prepared for my wife to have limited involvement in the wedding as she will be still nursing. We have also considered renting a house close to the venue and hiring a full time sitter. A house seemed like a better option than squeezing everyone in a hotel. Our son will be 2 1/2 at that point so he will still need constant supervision. (He is also a ring bearer :)So, is this manageable? My wife is already nervous about it and I don't want to put too much pressure on her. She had a C section last time because our son was breached, so there's obviously a good possibility it will be needed again. That would set back the recovery even more. I want to avoid a disaster while both of us can still enjoy my brother's wedding and everything that comes with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!TL; DR--someone please help me plan attending a wedding weekend with a toddler and a newborn via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2wPMkPi
