Please, someone help me. My daughter just started kindergarten. Her big focus as far as homework goes is sight words. She gets a paper each week with 5 sight words on it to go over.I'm trying to remind myself that this is new to her and I just need to chill and let her learn at her own pace. Except it's so fucking tedious. She can recognize one word one day, 2 the next, then like today, I might as well be showing her kanji bc she has some sudden onset of amnesia and can't recognize the letter A or the word IS.So I'll tell her. Go over it again and again and she still doesn't get it. Then the whining starts, the crying, she needs to stretch so on so forth.Advice?
