Our 4yo is generally quite well behaved, we've rarely had to deal with discipline issues. Lately our issue is that dealing with a small issue only seems to escalate the problem. For example, she is playing around before bed, so we tell her that if she doesn't stop we won't read all her books (we always read 3). This basically leads to her freaking out, throwing a huge crying fit, running away from us, etc. To put it simply, she doesn't respond well to discipline/punishment. Last night's episode continued onto this morning when she wouldn't get dressed, eat, etc, etc.So how to deal with the smaller issues without making everything worse? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2LUDlFn
