Hi Guys, I'm a guy from UK and recently been thinking about whether I want kids or not (I'm 30 and single). At the moment leaning towards the CF stance but there are parts of parenting that appeal to me and I wouldn't be surprised if my stance changes. However, one thing which puts me off parenting is the constant worry about your child. For example, in education (which the child spends the first 20 years in). Is the kid performing to his ability? If not, why not? Is it him/her or the school? Is he being bullied? Is he making friends? Is he behaving well? This isn't even an exhaustive list of worries. Grades, as they have implications, are a big one.How do you cope with this constant concern? It literally sounds draining. I appreciate that you want the best for your child, but this literally sounds like it can suck life out of you. I've seen what this is like with my parents and my brother who never really applied himself to education. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2iTpz7K
