I am posting because I feel like there are so frequently posts about keeping kids in bed a bit later. We finally, after talking about it for over a year, last week we bought the OK to Wake Clock for our 3.5 year old. It took literally. one. single. day. to solve our problem. We've always had a solid sleeper, but since being night potty trained one challenge has been that he frequently wakes around 5:15am to pee and is determined that he won't go back to bed at that time. He's had enough sleep to feel awake, but not really 'enough' and our household does not really need to get going until 7-7:30am, so 5:15 was a huge inconvenience.Bought it, explained it, the first day he woke up before it but was sent back to bed to await the green. Was so excited to come to our room and announce "My clock is green, it's wake up time!" Second day, and most days thereafter, he's not getting out of bed until the clock lights up at 6:40am. On the one occasion he did get out of bed before it went green, I didn't even have to get up - I asked "Is your wake up clock green yet?" He admitted no, and went back to bed by himself without any debate, argument or even me having to get out of bed. So I was able to get right back to bed. Edit - I mean sleep. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2gYDfdr
