Update: Keep kids in town for little league world series or send them home to start school?

I wanted to thank everyone who commented on my original post. https://ift.tt/2LaS2Ql my 13 year old's team did not advance any farther than today in the Little League World Series tournament. My husband and 13 year old will be staying in Williamsport to watch the remainder of the series but I will be heading back home tomorrow with the rest of the kids. They will still be missing their first day of school but they'll be there on Wednesday to get their years started.Thanks again for the advice. My daughter isn't thrilled about it but we got to see a great game and she's very proud of her brother. We are proud of all of the kids who competed here and I really encourage everyone to come to the Little League World Series someday if you ever get the chance. Even if you hate baseball it's an amazing experience. We didn't win the championship but my son has made friends from all around the world and that's something we can take back home. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2OPrOVI
