My boy gets upset when we say "no". He shuts down and refuses to talk or listen. We sometimes give him space and time to deal with his emotions, but sometimes he wants us to do something, and he'll grunt without using words, expecting us to understand his wishes.This sometimes devolves into throwing things. At that point we'll try to prevent damage, and he'll start hitting us.That's when we have to restrain him, and I hold him down.What other options do I have?
