I get that this is a hilarious and impossible request, but I have to try.My son turns 3 at the end of Nov, and we’d been doing really well with “compliance” until he started daycare last month. The “No Bad Kids” book really helped us for the last year or so. Now, he’s far more defiant and will throw longer tantrums.Just getting him to follow our normal routine is a game for him. He runs away from diaper changes, tries to escape, goes to the backyard instead of the car, stands outside the daycare building pointing at the bus, etc.We have newborn kittens and he obviously can’t be allowed to be rough with them.He also has been filling up cups of water and dumping them out in the sink, getting it all over the floor, and then slipping and falling in it.Telling him no or stopping this behavior has gotten extreme reactions. He loves to brush his teeth (will do it for 20 minutes straight), but after I took the cup away, he wouldn’t even do that this morning! Please tell me there are strategies to help! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2vZkIad
