10 Month Old Development Update

So around 3-4 weeks ago I posted on r/Parenting about my 9 MO check up where the pediatrician was concerned my son wasn’t babbling consonants.About a week after this he started consistently saying mamamama and dadadada. At this point we had already made an appointment to get his hearing checked that week. We took him and everything was fine as I suspected.Fast forward to today where we took him to get an early intervention evaluation. I wasn’t there but my wife and MIL were. They had him run through a series of actions. A lot of which he was ahead of or on schedule. All of his motor skills were ahead like standing and he’s able to walk behind a walk training cart and is a fast crawler. This was fine except they said he qualified for the program because of a few things. He wasn’t able to grab for a ball after being presented with both a ball and a block. I assume since he didn’t differentiate the two when commanded. They also had him try to imitate stirring a spoon in a bowl in which he took the spoon and put it in his mouth without imitating. They also said he should be using more sounds other than the mama dada like baba/gaga.With that said I felt like he’s made a lot of progress since a few weeks ago when this all started. He always seems to want to communicate back and forth and is a lot more talkative. He loves playing cat and mouse games where he gets chased or is chasing back. Loves books and flipping pages. Turning on and off light switches. They said they would start having someone come out to our house once a month to work with him which is great. I guess I am wondering if anyone has a list of things we could work on with him. There is obviously a lengthy set of things the evaluators went through but I’ve never seen a comprehensive list that we can work off of. Anyone have something like this? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2rdBvUp
