Toddler still waking up frequently for night nursing.

I have managed to get my son (2m) out of my bed and into his own big boy room in a toddler bed. He goes down easy, but he is waking up 3-4 times a night to nurse and on the 4th time (which is usually around 4am) he won’t lay back down. He wants to be attached and when I say no we end up just waking up, because he throws huge fits.If I go into his room when he’s crying for me during the night and try to do anything else other than nurse him, he throws a huge fit.
