My daughter just turned 2 yrs old the other day and she has received sooo many toys, books, stuffed animals, etc. She also got about $200 cash in various birthday cards. Her mother(my wife) and I are I'm a pretty tight pinch financially at the moment, just barely making ends meet. This is mostly due to daycare costs. Would it be wrong of me to use this money to help with daycare costs? My wife says we're supposed to put it in a savings account for her, but I feel like we should be able to use it towards expenses for her. It would only cover about a week of daycare but it would take that load off of us for a week. Any input would be appreciated.Tl/dr: my 2 yr old daughter got $200 bday money and we're broke. Can I use it towards daycare? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2AceJhW
