3.5 yr old potty training in progress, has #1 down, #2 not so much

Have a 3 yr old in the midst of potty training. He took to peeing in the potty almost immediately, and I remind him how proud I am frequently.However, he will only poop in his underwear/pullup, and never even acknowledges when he is dropping a deuce even when it is plain on his face. I would go as far as to say he is trying to hide the deed in progress.I never shame him for it in fear of him developing a complex, but I do talk to him about it as we clean up the mess "next time lets try to get the poopy to the potty" etc...He doesn't seem to fear the toilet, just disinterested in the deed.Any ideas? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2ye5SeW
