My daughter is 17 months old and hasn’t said any real words yet. She understands everything I say, follows commands, points, babbles, and is affectionate. Her doctor wasn’t worried at 15 months but I had her evaluated anyway. She was evaluated at 16 months and didn’t qualify because she wasn’t delayed enough. She has the communication skills of a 10 month old but that’s not delayed enough to qualify in NH. I’m wondering if I should try again now that she’s 17 months (she hasn’t progressed at all) or wait. We won’t be in town in December when she’s 18 months so we’d have to wait until she’s 19 months.Has anyone else had this happen to them? I could wait until her 18 month checkup to see what the ped says but I’m getting worried. Thanks! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2lJzqiQ
