Out of Line School Assignments

I am at my wits end. My six year old's teacher handed out a very prying, snooping, and out of line school assignment. Teacher wanted intimate details of our family life in order to access my child's mental state for some mindfulness education thing she cooked up.She wanted to know seemingly innocent things like what we ate for all three meals, how often we spent time together, how many siblings she had and the like. There were also questions asking things like if her father and I ever scared her, if her father and I ever fought, the subject of our familial disagreements, how often we all bathed, how many people lived in the house etc.....I'm boiling mad. She has no right to pry into our family life. So I have five kids, so my husband and I fight, so we eat off brand food in front of the TV, so my extended family lives with us....its nobody's business but my own.She decided to air the differences between each family for the class and even accused my daughter of lying about her home life. She's upset, the other kids are making fun of her, and this mindfulness has only begun.Anybody else ever have to deal with this kind of thing? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2squ5eB
