My son is in the 89th percentile for height and the 10th percentile for weight. After making smaller and smaller gains, our pedi told me to replace my son's water with milk (I nurse, but only twice a day, and his pedi said he needs to be getting 16-24 ounces of milk a day). He also told me to refuse to feed him anything until he takes three bites of vegetables (that will require a weekend because our son can wait a whole day without eating before he caves - we haven't tried two). I bought a new thermos that will keep the milk cold, and he drank a little from it a week ago but hasn't since then. We offer the bottle of milk, but he always wants water.Today I didn't give him much water; he had apples and grapes and nursed. He is very thirsty and very upset that we won't give him water or let him nurse until he has one sip of milk... I am wondering whether it will make him even less likely to drink milk. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2lZPrRX
