This is a little embarrassing and maybe mildly NSFW. I regularly browse this sub but I’m using a throwaway. My son is 19. He currently still lives at home with me and my wife. We are aware that he is sexually active. We don’t have a problem with that. (We have pretty liberal attitudes toward sex in general). The issue is that his newest girlfriend is apparently a little on the noisy side. To be fair, the walls are paper thin. But she was definitely loud. At first, I laughed because it was such an absurd situation that it was almost comical. But my wife wasn’t thrilled at all.Thankfully, this has only happened once (as far as I know, that’s the only time the girl has slept over). And no one has said anything about the “incident“ yet.My wife wants to implement a “no sex in the house” policy. As for myself, I have no idea what to do. Our older daughter is 25 and she never did anything like this - so we never had to confront this issue. I debated just knocking while it was going on but then it stopped (thankfully!). So I figured I would just talk to my son after the fact. And...I still haven’t.It’s now been a full day and I haven’t said anything. I guess I feel a little awkward. (No one prepared me for this part of parenting, let me tell you).Any advice on how to approach this tactfully? Should we just go with my wife’s idea and do a sex ban? Or wait and see if maybe this issue resolves itself? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2zhiQJi
